As if the work week wasn't enough....

Many are lucky enough to have their families all under one roof for most of the time. I know an occasional getaway or job takes us away from our spouses and family. For the past 15 +/- years William has traveled for his job. Started out 5 days a week (sometimes 6) and through some great negotiating he has managed to get his work week down to only being gone 3 nights a week for the past 7 +/- years. He recently moved his office to the north side of Sacramento so now he leaves around 5:00 am on Monday morning and returns by 5:00 pm on Thursdays. As if being gone during the week wasn't enough he has decided that he will help out a friend in Yreka do some much needed remodel work on his home which will now take him out of town Thursday evening through Saturday evening. This will be a benefit to him as well because he took his drift boat up to Medford to have some upgrades & modifications done so with the money he will make being out of town it will help pay for his boat upgrades, so it is a two-fold situation .... Steve gets the professionalism of William's work and William gets the much desired drift boat he wants .... but what about me???? Okay, I must admit it will be nice to have Saturdays free to work on my scrapbooks which I don't do when he is home due to guilt (Hard to be inside working on scrapbooks when he is outside dinking around doing yard work, moving wood, mowing lawns etc.) and I will also get to enjoy the drift boat this summer & fall while we fish together .... however .... it doesn't curb the feeling of missing my husband while he is gone!! I will just reflect on our many weekend's together at the ranch come May ......

Just think of all the scrapbooking you will get done. And you can get to yreka pretty quickly for visits too!
